Fashion Polly is a 4-inch version of the perennially popular Polly Pockets doll, on a larger scale for a different level of play and for slightly older girls. (The tiny components make this toy unsuitable for kids under the age of 4.) Fashion Polly is made of molded vinyl with an upswept blonde ponytail and movable head, waist, arms, and legs. Her extensive wardrobe includes six pairs of minuscule shoes and mix-and-match outfits for ballet, gymnastics, jazz, tap, and school. Her clothing is made of a tough, flexible vinyl with a bit of stretch to it so that Polly can fit her teeny-tiny arms into those teeny-tiny sleeves. Everything fits into a clear plastic backpack with a cardboard insert of a dance studio with a pink plastic boom box and a ballet barre.
